My first ambient playlist in a while. I usually hold off on making these public because I don't think anyone really wants to know what single, static frequency someone listens to. Also because to me, ambient music is pretty personal. But I enjoy it a lot, and why not share something I enjoy with others? My introduction to ambient music was through a game called Yume Nikki, a surrealist adventure game/walking simulator, made by Kikiyama. It focuses on exploring the dream world of a girl and has no dialogue, combat or plot. There's no game over screen and you can only save by writing in your diary. I highly suggest you play it, it's available on steam. There is no true purpose to this playlist. It's not arranged, curated, in order, doesn't follow a pattern and has no continuity. Therefore, it has meaning and purpose. Weird right? What I'm trying to say here is that by not wanting something to have meaning or purpose, you give it exactly that. It finds it by itself. Grab some quality headphones, lay in bed, do breathing exercises, study, read, whatever it is you want to do while listening to it, go ahead. It's yours now too.
